ESA BIC Padua
The ESA Business Incubation Centre Padua
is an initiative powered by the European Space Agency and provides start-ups with technical expertise and facilities, business support, networking, office space and funding needed to help and accelerate their business growth.
Part of ESA’s successful European network of Business Incubation Centres, ESA BIC Padua is managed by Officina Stellare SpA, a leading name worldwide for its capacity to design and manufacture of high technology opto-mechanical system instrumentation for the Aerospace, Scientific Research and Defense-related end-markets.
ESA BIC Padua aims to provide startups with a unique environment to accelerate innovation and unlock their commercial potential.
Who Can Apply?
•Companies registered in Italy
• New or existing companies less than 5 years old
• The startups must have a space-related, verifiable business and a viable Business Plan
When to apply?
The ESA BIC Open Call for Applications is permanently open.
The selection and evaluation of applications are scheduled periodically with deadlines published on this website.

The ESA BIC Startups incubation program lasts 2 years and includes:
Up to 50K Euro zero-equity funding provided By ESA and ESA BIC Padua partners.
80 hours of Technical coaching
50 hours Management/Business coaching
10 hours IPR/Legal Services
Access to a broad network of corporate, research partners, investors
Access to the international ESA Commercialization Gateway community and SBIC alumni network
Exclusive access to national and international events; workshops, masterclasses and training sessions.
